Solomon told his sons to listen to his instructions. More important for us today, is that we listen to our heavenly Father’s words as recorded in the Scriptures. If we hide it in our hearts, we will not sin against Him. It will be a lamp to show us where we stand and a light to show us our way. God’s Word is absolutely true and dependable, giving great peace.
