DAILY?READINGS: Gen. 10 to 11:26; Job 13-14; Matt. 6:19 to 7:6

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?     Acts 9:6

Paul was one of those exceptional souls who at the moment of his salvation settled the matter of his life’s service. When he asked, “Lord what wilt thou have me to do?” he was offering his life without reservation for whatever service God wanted him to perform (see Acts 22:10). This great question represents the secret of a truly blessed and successful Christian life. Have you asked it?    —W. Ross Rainey

My Jesus, as Thou wilt: O may Thy will be mine!
Into Thy hand of love I would my all resign.
Through sorrow or thro’ joy, conduct me as Thine own,
And help me still to say, “My Lord, Thy will be done.”
