From childhood through 70 years of captivity, Daniel’s hallmark was spiritual consistency. He purposed in his heart to remain undefiled; he sought God at every opportunity; he depended solely on the wisdom of God; He acknowledged God as the only source of authority and wisdom and spoke truthfully what God had declared—no matter the potential outcome.
