Exodus 22:1-23:9; Psalms 64:1-65:13; Acts 12:1-25

An excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding…and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel. Dan. 5:12

From childhood through 70 years of captivity, Daniel’s hallmark was spiritual consistency. He purposed in his heart to remain undefiled; he sought God at every opportunity; he depended solely on the wisdom of God; He acknowledged God as the only source of authority and wisdom and spoke truthfully what God had declared—no matter the potential outcome. Daniel seized every opportunity to display God’s faithfulness and trustworthiness. As we follow Daniel’s pattern of consistency, the truth of Christ will dissolve the doubts of those we know. —D. J. Reed
