Exodus 24:1-18; Psalm 68:1-35; Acts 13:26-52

And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. And the children of Israel were fruitful. Exodus 1:6-7

The Israelites flourished as a nation long after Joseph’s generation died. When they were oppressed, God multiplied them. When they were mistreated, He sustained them. When they were enslaved, He delivered them. God’s promise to make them a great nation wasn’t based on others—but on His word alone. Are circumstances not in your favour? Is what you had hoped for gone? Trust God—the giver and keeper of promises. He will multiply, sustain and deliver as you look to Him. —Deborah Manera
