Leviticus 10:1-20; Psalms 111:1-112:10; Mark 2:1-22

Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. Jeremiah 10:6
For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised. Psalm 96:4

The word “great” occurs very often in Scripture, particularly when it is used to describe God. Great, when used as an adjective, means far above normal. His name is great, His power is great (Jer. 32:17), His love is great (Eph. 2:4), His mercy is great (1 Pet. 1:3). Indeed there is none like the Lord. How great Thou art! —Bob Cretney

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul my Saviour God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great Thou art! —Carl Boberg
